Hrithik's family puzzled by his wax-figure

Bollywood’s Greek god Hrithik might have unveiled his wax-figure at London's famous Madame Tussauds museum recently, but what was more endearing at the launch was the actor’s two doting sons, Hridhaan and Hrehaan looking awe-struck and puzzled seeing their father’s well-toned replica. Hridhaan and Hrehaan were confused and unable to find the dissimilarity between their father’s twin figure and the real one. However, the kids were able to find the distinction after they caught hold of their father’s hand.

Hrithik was in tears after seeing his wax-figure, which had supposedly been molded in his ‘Dhoom 2’ avatar. It’s learnt that the actor was not only feeling emotional after unveiling his statue, but his entire family was quite thrilled, and enjoyed the wonderful moment with him. And after seeing her husband’s replica, Sussanne Roshan was so smitten with the chiseled body of the waxed figure that she kissed it.

At the talk show ‘Koffee with Karan’, Sussanne didn’t shy away from speaking about Hrithik’s cat and mouse games when it came to his past relationships and link-ups.

Interestingly, she also opened up about his sizzling on-screen chemistry with his co-stars, Kareena and the ‘Kites’ actress Barbara Mori. Besides, Sussanne also shared details of the special moments in her marriage.

"Hrithik and I always make up in the funniest way. First we fight, and then a moment later we crack up on either something silly that one of us would have said. If not that, I start laughing at how Hrithik's expression is, when he is angry," said Sussanne.

And on the show, Hrithik who had spoken about the essence of love and admitted his love for his wife, and said, “Love is about bringing out the other person's individuality. What has gone wrong with the love today is that people have started to possess.

"If I love her (Sussanne), I should let her do what makes her smile and not impose my opinions."

This Valentine's Day, like every year, is going to be very special for Hrithik Roshan. The superstar is going out for family and children and most importantly he is looking to surprise Sussanne. "I really put in an effort when I buy gifts. I believe in giving my wife meaningful things that can bring a smile on her face. Which woman doesn't like receiving gifts from her man? Not just Sussanne, even if I'm gifting something to anyone be it my parents, children or close friends, I make sure the gift is special," Hrithik said.

Ask him to reveal his best moment of romance and he shoots, "It is definitely the day I said the three big words to Sussanne. It took her by surprise. I don't really have great memories of Valentine's Day as I was a shy kid and never really got the courage to walk up to the girl I liked and talk to her, forget asking her out." Now, this really surprises us as Hrithik has been making girls go weak in their knees for the longest time. "I became confident as I grew up. But it surely feels great getting all the attention. It is a huge compliment. I don't think today being married changes anything. Marriage makes people sexier," he says.

For Hrithik, love is like oxygen that he can never do without. "I'm an incurable romantic. I love the concept of being in love with one person throughout my life and I'm blessed to have Sussanne and on Valentine's Day, I renew my vows of being with her, loving her and her bouncing board all my life. I believe that little things make the biggest difference to a relationship. I'm a very passionate person. For me, Valentine's Day is more than just the conventional man-woman relationship. It's about love for family, for children and for people around me. I thank my fans for the love they have been showering on me and I promise to give back as much as I can."

Shah Rukh Khan: My Valentine's Day will be in jail since on that day I'll be shooting in a jail in Malaysia for a film.

Deepika Padukone: I would be in Bhopal shooting for Prakash Jha's film Aarakshan. So basically no special plans for Feb 14.

Aamir Khan: I will be in Berlin Feb 14 since I'm among the jury members for the Berlin film festival. So won't be here to do anything special.

Katrina Kaif: I have no plans for Valentine's Day since I'll be working on Feb 14 like all other days.

Kareena Kapoor: I have no plans and I am not going to gift anything on that particular day.

Priyanka Chopra: I think this whole idea of Valentine's Day is a little over hyped. Why wait for a single day to express your love? Everyday should be like that. So I won't be doing anything special on Valentine's Day.

Arbaaz Khan: I have no plans as of now. Let the day come and will see what can be done.

Arshad Warsi: Every day you have to keep your wife happy. So every day is a Valentine's Day.

It's Hrithik Roshan's birthday today and the 37-year-old actor will start the day by calling the one person who he feels he has hurt in the past year. Says a source close to Hrithik, "Ever year on this day, he calls up one person that he has hurt in the past year, intentionally or unintentionally, and says sorry. He feels that because it's his birthday, it's that one day when people will forgive him and let go of past grudges. On his birthday when he wakes up, he tries to remember if there is any person who he has hurt or misunderstood him, he sorts out things with him/her."

The friend adds, "Duggu has followed this practice of calling up that one person over the years and today it's almost like a tradition. He feels life is too short to bear grudges."

Duggu says, "I believe that the more love we give the more love we get. If my fans today, can go out and call that one person who feels bitter or hurt about them, I would be really happy.

I would consider it as their gift to me."

Hrithik Roshan: 2010 has been my year

The year 2010 may not have been favourable for Hrithik Roshan as far as his box-office success is concerned. Two of his big budget films: KITES and GUZAARISH failed to ignite interest among the audiences. Many feel that the year 2010 has been unlucky for Hrithik. But the actor differs in his estimation of 2010 as far as his career is concerned. According to Hrithik Roshan, the year 2010 has been one of the best years of his career. Says the actor, "I believe it's been more my year than any of the previous years. I've gone beyond anything that I've done in the past. Kites has been my most subtle work. After Guzaarish I am on a high. I didn't feel this way after Jodhaa Akbar or Koi Mil Gaya or Krrish. God would punish me and I'd feel ashamed if I didn't feel 100 per cent happiness". Shah Rukh Khan in Hrithik roshan Krrish 2

Shah Rukh Khan seems to be in love with action genre. After his home production Ra.One and his upcoming release Don 2, the actor will reportedly be seen in the sequel to the 2006 superhit film Krrish. According to reports circulating in the media, Shah Rukh is joining the star cast of Krrish 2 as one of the film’s negative characters. Though nothing has been confirmed on an official basis, with director Rakesh Roshan refusing to comment, a source has revealed that SRK has given the nod to do the film under the condition that the Hrithik Roshan starrer releases after his own superhero flick Ra.One.

Media speculations say that it is the new-found friendship between the actors that has culminated into their association in Krrish 2. While Shah Rukh and Hrithik Roshan had been termed as rivals during the start of the latter’s career in Bollywood, all the rivalry is a thing of the past. Gauri Khan and Sussanne Roshan, the wives of the stars, are very close friends and it is they who keep their husbands bound to one another.

Shah Rukh has been heard praising the acting skills of Hrithik Roshan especially after his performance in Guzaarish. Hrithik Roshan too makes it a point to seek the advice of his senior on professional matters. Also, both families are regularly spotted at each other’s parties.

While reports claim that SRK is already a part of Krrish 2, Rakesh Roshan has said that he has not started casting for the film, as it is still in the scripting stage. Rakesh doesn't want to comment on Shah Rukh Khan’s involvement in the future project.

Karan Johar who brought together the three biggies of Hindi cinema - Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan - in his blockbuster hit `Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham` in 2001 is reportedly wanted to do its sequel too. After all, all the characters are still around and that the sequel would revolve around the growth of the brothers and the problems that arise because of their independent understanding and working of the business empire of the father, a split within them and so on. Also starring Jaya Bachchan, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor, the movie was the highest grossing Indian film in the overseas market. Amitabh has now left his decision for the Part II on the fans` discretion.

Sohail to direct Salman again

Salman's kid brother Sohail Khan will direct Salman again in his next venture after a 10-year gap. Sohail is yet to finalise the leading lady for the film. Sources inform that the film will be a love story with doses of action too. This will be Sohail's fifth film as a director, the first three being Auzaar, Pyar Kiya Toh Darna Kya and Hello Brother. The fourth venture Sohail attempted at directing was Maine Dil Tujhko Diya in 2002 starring himself and Sameera Reddy in the lead. Needless to say, the film flopped at the box office. Sohail had since then turned producer and dabbled in writing too. Sohail is now seen putting a lot of effort into his production house. As for acting, Sohail says that he will act on and off, only if interesting scripts come his way.

Hrithik-Kat once again!

After acting together in Zoya Akhtar's yet to release film 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif,have been roped in together once again for a part animation and part live flick, much like Ajay Devgn starrer 'Toonpur Ka Superhero'. Apparently, with 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' still in the making, cine goers are eager to know how the Hrithik-Katrina chemistry works. However, both Hrithik and Katrina will be doing a cameo for director Nandan Mehta, whose film is titled 'Main Krishna Hoon'. While Hrithik will be playing himself in the movie, the character that Katrina will portray is still not revealed. It is believed that the film also stars Juhi Chawla.

Hrithik Donates Bus for Special Children

Suzanne Roshan has long been associated with the Dilkhush Special School for the mentally challenged. Now, Hrithik Roshan has joined his wife's efforts by donating a school bus worth Rs. 10 lakh to the school. The school authorities are grateful to Hrithik as they had only two buses. The new bus will join the school fleet in January 2011.
The Roshans had earlier donated a generous amount in 2005 when the ground floor of the school and the school furniture were damaged in floods.
