I guess it is kind of hard to try to complete an image that satisfies the mental picture that we have of it. Mostly, because of time, right now I have a lot to do too. As in, if you have a delivery confirmation from Fedex/UPS does it have any significance? It is still not clear if it will be accepted/ rejected AFAIK.
Have there been any applications that were not even "accepted" because the "packet" suggested it was an AOS application?
More likely, applications can be rejected for being "improperly filed" but you would only come to know about it whenever they are rejected. No one would know this in advance, so no point worrying about it.

If you do not answer the question about the rally, it doesn't allow you to register.

understandably so.. but I am now current after a looooong time. EB3 Dec 2001 PD. I can finally file the AOS for my wife who has been on H4 for the last 2 yrs... excellent!
sunnymit, congrats and definitely for a fellow EB3 member, it is a cause for celebration who has been waiting since Dec 2001. especially when the dates keep coming all the way till Nov 2001, but never crossed beyond that.

So if I was laid off and I was working on an EAD, all I need is a letter from any company saying they are hiring me 6 months from now for a salary comparable to that in my LC (with similar job responsibilities etc) and I would be covered in case of an RFE similar to mine?
Wouldn't that be so easy to get?

Is there any way to find out the number of members in IV. I talked about IV with a lot of my friends and 6 of them have become members. It would be nice to know the number of members in IV just like we know the Percentage of Target Met for $ contributions.

Applications already properly filed will be accepted, means all applications from the 2nd July to 16th July will be accepted if properly filed (Means: If they have the proper documents and are otherwise eligible, meaning filing fees and certified labor)

There are not many AOS applications filed after first week of July. 3 to 4 weeks time frame is common turn around time. Dont freak out until then.

I do not think the provision that would prohibit employers from hiring H-1B workers and then outsourcing them to other businesses would be in this the bill, Atleast these businesses will lobby to take it out.

This is MUCH worse than Dot-Com bubble, As Dot-Com bubble was just for IT industry, this financial sector, Housing Sector, Insurence Sector. And obviously IT as IT is service industry for all these.
